The Opportunity

As a Staff Software Engineer, Core Services, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers Kandji’s multiple product lines. Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering for Core Services, you will work on the reliability, scalability, and security of Kandji’s core shared services. This newly formed team will focus on enabling rapid innovation by developing and maintaining foundational components that support our broader engineering organization.

You will collaborate closely with other development teams to decompose monolithic applications into well-structured services, build self-serve infrastructure capabilities, and develop shared services that enhance developer productivity. The Core Services team owns and maintains essential components such as the API Gateway, Service Mesh, Real-Time Communication (MQTT), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation to ensure platform stability and reliability.
