The Business Development Manager EMEA will drive the expansion of Booking.com’s Travel Media Network across EMEA by growing on-site and off-site display advertising solutions. This role is focused on developing strong partnerships, managing client relationships, and hitting sales targets in the digital advertising space. If you have a passion for sales and a background in digital media or travel advertising, you will excel in this role. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Drive Sales Growth: Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline across EMEA, working to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets for display advertising solutions. Identify new business opportunities by actively prospecting clients in the travel, hospitality, and related industries. Client Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including media agencies and decision-makers. Conduct regular account planning and reviews for key partners to maximize campaign performance and identify cross-selling opportunities. New Business Development: Proactively generate leads and pursue new partnerships to expand the client base, especially within the travel and hospitality sectors. Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with clients to develop personalized media solutions that meet their advertising objectives, ensuring that campaigns deliver high ROI. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Account Management and Ad Operations to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns and the delivery of results. CRM and Reporting: Apply CRM tools to manage accounts, report progress, and track campaign performance, ensuring transparency with management. Internal Education: Participate in internal training sessions to educate colleagues on the advertising program and industry trends. Represent Booking.com at selected partner events or conferences. Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of experience in digital media sales, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or advertising industries. Knowledge of the digital world including: Display, Native, Mobile, Social, Email, Programmatic & Data Bachelor’s degree in either a marketing, commercial or business related field. Proven ability to close deals, exceed revenue targets, and build lasting client relationships. Analytical Approach: Comfort in interpreting data and using it to guide strategic decisions for optimizing campaign performance. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing decision-makers. Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and tools like Excel. Experience with Ad serving platforms, DSPs and any 3rd party measurement tooling. Travel Requirements: Occasional travel across EMEA for client meetings and industry events.
