The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team is searching for a passionate and talented Program Manager to support our India Data Center infrastructure growth initiatives. Based in Mumbai corporate & Data Center offices, the PM will be responsible to create program framework along with internal/external stakeholders to plan and track program deliveries, associated long lead equipment (LLE) planning and generate leadership reports working closely with the tech infra program managers (TIPM) and other partner teams. Our Program Managers are strong communicators both written and verbally working with internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the Data Center development lifecycle from initial site due diligence through Construction and into Operation. .
At AWS, along with technical knowledge, we expect our leaders to interact with customers, partners and suppliers to understand our business goals and priorities, and to execute rapidly, delivering high-quality results. The candidate will be comfortable in managing remote project delivery teams, and possess the ability to facilitate technical sessions to troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to project success.
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator (both written and verbal), and possess relevant experience in program management

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will support organizational initiatives and delivery teams
- Tracking business metrics and generating reports on data center delivery programs
- Creating program execution plans in co-ordination with the TIPMs.
- Delivering initiatives alongside the TIPMs delivering data center capacities.
- Defining and measuring success metrics of the programs.
- Driving improvements metrics and program execution mechanisms
- Writing documents including program proposals/plans and WBR/MBRs for leadership.
- Raising budget approval requests and track approvals.
- Creating purchase order (PO) and tracking equipment deliveries at site.

- 3+ years of program or project management experience especially around logistic programs handling LLEs/Supply chain initiatives.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams- Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with the AWS
- Experience of managing projects in the APAC region.
- Data Centre Infrastructure (Power & Cooling) experience.
- Knowledge of the Indian Data Centre market
