Country Manager, Philippines, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Project Kuiper Consumer Business is looking for a talented individual to lead the consumer business in the Philippines. This role is responsible for launching, scaling, and operating the residential broadband service for consumers - with full P&L responsibility. A successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization and adept at understanding how businesses work in the Philippines. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer related products.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop the go-to-market strategy, business models, and distribution plans to launch the Project Kuiper residential broadband service in the Philippines
- Analyze, develop, and recommend consumer service plans, solutions, and models
- Develop bottom-up operating plans, pricing strategy, and demand forecasts
- Once operational, own the P&L, meet business goals, and deliver a fantastic customer experience
- Engage in business development efforts and contract negotiations required to launch residential broadband service
- Deliver comprehensive, written strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders
- Prepare detailed business cases for justification of new opportunities
- Partner with legal, tax and regulatory to engage in business partnerships and local regulatory efforts

Export Control Requirement:
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- MBA or Bachelor degree in Business, Technology (or equivalent work experience).- Extensive experience within telecommunications, satellite internet or consumer subscription services
