The Data Center Capacity Delivery Asia-Pacific Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team delivers and services the control systems which monitor and ensure the health of our data centers. APAC CDS’ mission is to safely provide our customers with the unmatched reliability, security, and performance that AWS is known for. APAC CDS covers six disciplines of deployments, projects, service, colo, on-call support, and management.

Controls Coordinators are responsible for understanding the entire construction and deployment lifecycle, the data center design types, the different vendors and systems, and how these components impact the purchasing for multi-million dollar data center deployment projects. They provide corresponding Operational Planning (OP1/2) inputs to Finance Managers against this historic work. They compile and submit Work Order and Change Order requests, ensuring the correct technical documents are included in the contract that Legal drafts. They submit Purchase Requests with the necessary funding and vendor information to generate the Purchase Orders required to complete work. They also manage Supervisory Controls and Direct Automation (SCADA) rack forecasts and ordering. They actively partner with Controls Engineers, Controls Managers, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to complete these key deliverables.
