Datacenter Network Cable Install Technician, Infrastructure Delivery

AWS is looking to hire a highly motivated, Datacenter Network Cable Install Technician to join the growing Korean Infrastructure Delivery organization. The Install Technician will work closely with both internal customers, and external vendors, to facilitate smooth project execution, in a very short period of time.
Must also have great attention to detail and maintain high quality standards. Amazon Data Centers take customer data with the utmost importance, and selected candidates must be able to perform strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that ensure customer data and company intellectual property is protected and properly handled.

The Install Technical is responsible for installing the structured network cabling, such as optical fiber and ethernet cables inside our data centers. Install Technicians will also be working with their team-mates as well as with members of other teams to connect and troubleshoot new server capacity. This is an entry level position and a unique opportunity to work in some of the most innovative and fast paced data centers in the world. Comprehensive training will be provided.

AWS는 성장하고 있는 한국의 ‘Infrastructure Delivery’ 조직에 필요한, 매우 열정적인 ‘Datacenter Network Cable Installation Technician’을 고용하려 합니다. Install Technician은 빠르고 매끄러운 프로젝트 실행이 가능하도록 내부 고객들과 외부업체들과 가깝게 일하며, 또한 세부사항에 주의를 기울이고 높은 수준의 기준을 유지하여야 합니다. 따라서 후보자는 고객 데이터를 보장하고 회사의 지적 재산이 보호되고 적절하게 처리되도록 엄격한 SOP(Standard Operating Procedures)를 수행할 수 있어야 합니다.

Install Technician은 데이터 센터에서 광섬유와 이더넷케이블 같은 구조화된 네트워크 케이블링 및 설치를 담당합니다. Install Technician은 팀 동료 및 다른 팀과 함께 새로운 서버 용량을 연결하고 트러블슈팅을 합니다. 아마존 데이터센터는 고객 데이터를 가장 중요하게 여깁니다. 이는 엔트리 레벨 포지션이며 전세계에서 가장 혁신적이고 빠르게 변화하는 데이터센터에서 일할 수 있는 특별한 기회입니다. 위 업무를 원활히 수행할 수 있도록 충분한 교육이 제공될 것입니다.

Key job responsibilities
-Adhere to safety and security best practices in the data center
-Install Optical fiber and Ethernet cables inside data center facilities
-Basic Networking configurations
-Creating/attaching labels and barcodes
-Documenting procedures
-Track and prepare cabling for incoming equipment in advance
-Report current status via ticketing system, provide status reports, and email updates
-Manage multiple concurrent interdisciplinary projects and ability to work in a team
-Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain cleanliness
-Inventory, track and manage project related materials throughout project lifecycle
-Reading and comprehending spreadsheets, blueprints and building documentation
-Decommissioning of legacy equipment
