MAI is responsible for Microsoft's consumer propositions including Copilot, Bing, MSN, Microsoft Advertising, and Edge, as well as developing proprietary foundational AI Models. MAI works closely with a variety of teams across Microsoft and across the full AI stack to deliver on Microsoft's AI ambitions.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Program Manager to help bring our vision to life as we build the next wave of AI capabilities. We’re looking for someone with an abundance of positive energy, empathy, and kindness, in addition to being highly effective. The right candidate takes the initiative and enjoys finding paths through complexity in a fast-paced environment. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It will be your job to coordinate and keep all involved up to date on progress and deadlines.

By applying to this role based in U.S. Mountain View, CA, you are required to be local to the San Francisco area and in office 3 days a week. 

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinates projects and programs including all elements of end-to-end project planning, timelines, milestones, performance metrics, and resource needs for programs and product cycles. 
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, track progress, and measure the impact of quality and efficiency programs on key metrics. 
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and growth. Accountable to own the status of key projects, proactively identifying risks and proposing solutions to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate program strategies, progress, and results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, advocating for the quality and efficiency function within the team. 
  • Analyze business needs, identify solutions, and leverage business intelligence tools to improve processes, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making – including creating dashboards, testing and defining KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration, empathy, and respect to achieve business goals.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4 years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement 
    • OR equivalent experience. 
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
