Security Assurance Engineer

As part of the CISO Organization, the ACE (Assessment, Consulting, & Engineering) team provides security guidance and support to Microsoft’s enterprise. We help our customers identify and mitigate security risks in their applications, services, and infrastructure. To keep up with the dynamic cybersecurity landscape, where attackers use advanced tools and techniques to breach our defenses, our team promotes:

• Close collaboration within our team and with our external stakeholders to provide excellent security assurance.

We are looking for a Security Assurance Engineer to join our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Assurance program. We drive security assessments of acquisition and divestiture environments to better protect Microsoft during these transactions. In this role, you will identify security issues, recommend mitigation strategies, and help our customers adopt security best practices. You will spot trends across issues and processes and use those insights to improve our workflows, security standards, and tooling. Successful candidates will have technical experience in cybersecurity, demonstrated adaptability to engage with different customers, and enthusiasm for learning and growing as part of a diverse team of security professionals.
