Program Manager II, Demand Planning, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  
• Experience working in supply chain, demand planning, or capacity management.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  
• Experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies in cloud computing or related technical fields, and their relevance to the marketplace.
• Experience building spreadsheets and creating presentations.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is growing its global footprint and product offerings, while changing the way the world uses computing to meet customer needs, enable GCP business growth, and run the business. The team is focused on providing a consistent, predictable, and collaborative capacity experience for GCP customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Enable customer launches for retail customers or game launches for gaming customers.
• Enable the pursuit of new business agreements for GCP.
• Manage capacity enablement mechanism via policies in collaboration with Fleet management.
• Define and improve processes, metrics, tools, and automation to meet customer needs, while reducing inefficiency in the fleet and toil for all stakeholders.
• Track and communicate program status to cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives.
