Senior Software Engineer, Search, Performance Benchmarking

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in UI and debugging.
• Experience with performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Java, C++, or Python.

• Own the investigation, design, technical leadership, and implementation of alternative benchmarking tools or massive improvements to existing ones.
• Maintain tool offerings, learn about stack as well as the Search binaries we benchmark and improve overall tool health, code health, and monitoring/alerting.
