Your future role within QRT
You will join the 3rd Party Applications (3PA) group to help with the fast-expanding applications stack. As a key member of 3PA Engineering Support, you will work together with the rest of the global team and colleagues to deliver professional IT support for QRT users, as well as continuously improve monitoring and process automation to meet and beat Service Level Agreements.
What you will do:
- Leverage Cutting-Edge Technologies: Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools and frameworks to support and enhance QRTβs growing technology stack
- Manage & Support Third-Party Applications: Provide expert support for third-party applications (Refinitiv, Grafana, ChatGPT, Tableau, etc.) across on-premises, AWS deployments, and SaaS environments
- Application Onboarding & Enhancement: Collaborate with business and technology teams to onboard new applications, optimize existing solutions, and drive operational efficiency
- Platform Engineering & Monitoring: Design, deploy, and proactively monitor application platforms to ensure high availability and performance
- Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis: Work closely with internal users and external vendors to rapidly restore services, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes
- Collaboration with Core Teams: Engage with traders, researchers, and developers to build, optimize, and maintain bespoke platforms and environments tailored to business needs
- Process Automation & Workflow Optimization: Continuously enhance automation and refine operational workflows to improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability
- Scalable Systems Implementation: Develop and implement automated, scalable, and resilient application systems, processes, and controls to support long-term growth
Requirements
- Core Expertise: 3+ years in Application Support, DevOps, or a similar role
- Incident & Problem Management: Experience in application support and troubleshooting
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS provisioning (ECS, RDS, IAM) using Terraform/Ansible
- Monitoring & Automation: Experience with Grafana, Splunk, and scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell
- Networking & OS: Hands-on troubleshooting experience with Linux & Windows
- Trading & DevOps (preferred): Experience with Refinitiv TREP, DevOps tools (GitHub, Slack, OpsGenie)
