Operations Analyst, Multi Asset

This is an exciting opportunity to be the first Operations hire in our Mumbai office, which is already well-established and will shortly be moving to new, modern offices. As part of a significant global operations team, you will work closely with colleagues across multiple locations. With QRT continuously launching new offices, products, and teams, this role represents a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our expansion. 

Your future role at QRT

You will be joining a supportive Operations function, where you will be responsible for tasks spanning multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives. 

These will include:

• Trade booking & processing across all asset classes
• Broker matching
• Fails monitoring & resolution
• T1 reconciliations versus our custodians, investigating and resolving breaks in a timely manner
• Liaising with traders, treasury, senior managers, risk & COO teams regarding issues and queries 

Your present skillset

• Minimum 2 years of trade processing experience—candidates with experience in a single asset class (equities, fixed income, or derivatives) will be considered
• Understanding of how an asset manager (AM) works—buy-side experience is preferred but not a must
• Trade life cycle management—including trade booking, trade clearing, trade settlement, corporate actions, and physical delivery
• Clearing and settlement process—including funds management
• Corporate actions experience preferred
• Driven and self-motivated to problem-solve and work collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Team player
