Description
The Writing arm of our Product, Design & Marketing team works across services and products, including ones that are currently available and ones that are just barely being imagined. As a UX Writer focused on regulatory and compliance projects, you’ll be responsible for many things, including: * Writing, editing, and optimizing user-facing content like privacy notices, consent forms, data protection policies, and regulatory disclosures tailored to Apple users. * Developing and documenting core writing standards for regulatory and compliance-related materials, ensuring alignment with legal and industry requirements. * Building close relationships with legal and privacy teams to ensure clarity and consistency of regulatory messaging. * Working on feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education. * Collaborating with cross-functional partners and senior leadership to define and execute our product roadmap. * Addressing feedback and improving performance of our content and customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Have an unrelenting passion for user-focused product experiences and are curious about every step in the user’s journey, from onboarding to error states.
  • Possess a solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and data protection laws, ensuring that Apple is always aligned with the latest legal and regulatory developments.
  • Know how to work with wireframes and functional specs, and are familiar with design tools like Sketch.
  • Comfortable developing well-informed points of view, while also remaining open to adjustments based on input from others.
  • Experience managing several projects simultaneously and able to dynamically reprioritize as needed.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
