The Department: Marketing

The Role: Lead, Lifecycle Marketing 

Gemini is looking for a motivated crypto enthusiast with a deep understanding of the Web3 landscape to join as our Lead, Lifecycle Marketing. They will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies across the entire customer lifecycle, from initial awareness to retention and advocacy, by leveraging customer data to create targeted campaigns that nurture engagement and maximize revenue at each stage of the journey. 

The ideal candidate is collaborative and has experience partnering with cross-functional teams to launch campaigns, has a strong understanding of customer behavior, and the ability to leverage data to develop comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies. This position will play a crucial role in the success of funnel optimization, customer retention, brand advocacy, and driving revenue. Success in this role requires a strong bias for action, and a desire to find ways to improve our customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies that increase customer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue.
  • Execute customer marketing campaigns, specifically for our credit card product, and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and ROI.
  • Create and manage customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize and customize customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with Product, Communications, Design, and broader marketing team to support launch of new products and features. 
  • Develop and maintain a testing and experimentation framework to continuously improve campaign performance and customer experience.
  • Tactical execution of re-engagement campaigns including creation of dynamic email templates.
  • Track email marketing results, sharing key insights and making recommendations for improvement including variant testing.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing or related fields and experience working in email platforms including Braze and Hubspot.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and segmentation. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data in Looker and Mixpanel to inform decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation, SMS and push notification marketing, HTML and CSS for email design.
  • Deep understanding of crypto and Web3 including current trends, price movements, etc.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $137,000 - $192,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

In the United States, we have a flexible hybrid work policy for employees who live within 30 miles of our office headquartered in New York City and our office in Seattle. Employees within the New York and Seattle metropolitan areas are expected to work from the designated office twice a week, unless there is a job-specific requirement to be in the office every workday. Employees outside of these areas are considered part of our remote-first workforce. We believe our hybrid approach for those near our NYC and Seattle offices increases productivity through more in-person collaboration where possible.
