Program Manager III, Supply Chain, Order Management

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in supply chain operations or management.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or large-scale operations, with increasing levels of responsibility and self-sustainability in prior roles.
• Ability to comfortably operate and execute within technical spaces, with a capacity for learning new systems and tools.
• Excellent client services engagement, coupled with a passion for customer service and adept people management skills across both highly technical and non-technical partners.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Passion for functioning in an ambiguous, evolving engineering operations environment.

As a Program Manager for Cloud Supply Chain Operations (CSCO), you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver with unmatched speed, unwavering reliability, and unparalleled efficiency to Google's technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing programs, defining requirements, managing project schedules and communicating to stakeholders. You will be accountable for reliable and efficient delivery on behalf of CSCO's customers and users.

The Global Infrastructure Group (GIG) is responsible for driving optimal fulfillment and transforming Google’s fleet by balancing and shaping demand intent from our Product Areas, deployment decisions for new technology, and supply capability across data-centers, networking, and machines.

GIG Order Management serves as a central funnel for demand ingestion and is tasked with improving Product Areas ordering experience, managing order dependencies, owning capitalization governance, and reducing planning interrupts.

• Oversee, enable, and execute tasks to enable successful ordering, planning, and optimization of the fleet's deployment actions, including managing escalations, identifying risk areas, developing mitigation strategies, and driving the team to implement successful outcomes.
  
• Drive Program Manager efforts across various programs focused on long-term process/business transformations.
  
• Serve as a team point of contact for systems and processes as related to Order Management functions; scoping sub-linear system improvements, providing design input for high-priority fixes/improvements, vetting of feature requests/system changes.
