Portfolio Functional Cost Manager

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services. The team is responsible for designing, building and operating our global datacenters; managing the demand planning and capacity utilization of our cloud infrastructure; and all of the operations needed to run the physical infrastructure. We focus on smart growth with an emphasis on automation, data driven engineering, cost-effectiveness and environmental sustainability. 

The Cost Management team is a pillar within the CO+I Global Project Controls (GPC) team and serve as trusted advisors to the Data Center delivery teams, finance and senior leadership. The Cost team is looking for a Portfolio Functional Cost Manager to to support the global cost function. This role will work on program and process development, drive the implementation of new requirements, and monitor and maintain existing processes. Key responsibilities include collaborating with senior leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders to drive performance improvements, identifying and resolving potential risks, and maintaining global compliance standards. 

This role is located either in one or all hub locations: Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, AZ, Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX, or Washington, DC. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must ​relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.
