The Data Analytics and Insights (DANI) organization within Core Data focuses on the critical user journey of deriving insight from structured data at Google scale. Frequently the journey starts with end user activity data from Google applications, moves and transforms in pipelines, lands in a data warehouse, and then is queried by BI tools or ML-driven anomaly detection to find actionable insights. The DANI systems that power these journeys also underpin many of Google’s businesses including Ads, Search, Cloud, GDM, and Finance and are leveraged for a wide variety of use cases including BI and SQL analytics, data science and interactive analysis, real-time data serving for applications and machine learning.
As the Director of Core Data Processing (CoreDP), you will be responsible for this critical portfolio of production systems, both building and helping operate them.

We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
