Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack web development and front-end development.
  • Experience in JavaScript, Python, and with one compiled language (e.g., C++, Java, Go).
  • Experience with data collection, analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Experience with machine learning concepts and workflows.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience building and maintaining fullstack applications, including back-end services and front-end user interfaces, for performance monitoring and analysis.
  • Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, JAX, PyTorch). and hardware performance analysis, particularly with TPUs and GPUs.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their performance characteristics.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust, scalable, and user-friendly tools and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of ML compiler optimizations and their impact on performance.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

In this role, you will be focused around driving continuous improvements to the Machine Learning (ML) Software/Hardware stacks through benchmarking tools, visualizations and driving self service usage.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Measure, collect, analyze and report insights across performance timelines, for benchmarks per project.
  • Benchmark and predict fleetwide impact from changes impacting TPU performance - across training and LLM Serving.
  • Support self service, user friendly infrastructure for customer teams to integrate their pipelines, visualize their performance data and diagnose performance changes.
