Role Summary
The Sr. Manager -Procurement, Reporting & Analytics will report to the Vice President of Global Procurement & Workplace Solutions. The position will have key responsibilities as a strategic advisor to the entire Procurement organization and to the Vice President. In many ways, this is a “Chief of Staff” type function for Procurement in that the role partners closely with the Purchasing and Sourcing sides of the Procurement team to make the whole team greater than the sum of its’ parts.
The person in this role will manage prioritization for the Procurement team, with the goal of making us more efficient and effective as we partner with departments across the company. They will be responsible for all reporting, including gathering data from all of the Procurement leads on a regular basis and consolidating the results into meaningful reports to be shared across the Senior Management team of the company. They will be the central lead for project management on key initiatives within the Procurement organization to improve internally and to provide support for our Business Units. This includes partnering with respective key stakeholders across the company to identify and prioritize needs. They will develop feedback mechanisms to identify areas of improvement from internal and external stakeholders. This person is also responsible for leading departmental monthly, quarterly, and annual events and meetings. Also, they will partner with internal Shared Service organizations (i.e. Legal, Risk, Privacy, Insurance, Finance, etc.) for process improvement opportunities that extend to those teams. They will represent Procurement in Enterprise Data architecture discussions company-wide. They will be responsible for owning the Procurement policy, and training external stakeholders on that policy. This person will also drive training within the organization. They will also manage communication within Procurement and about Procurement to the broader Sophos company, including managing and maintaining the internal Hub Communications site.
The right candidate will have excellent teamwork skills and partnering ability with multiple departments and stakeholders, as well as being able to present and communicate effectively (both oral and written) with all levels of management.
