The Lead of Finance Transformation will drive large-scale finance modernization initiatives to optimize performance, efficiency, and scalability for a $6 billion organization. This role is pivotal in shaping the company’s future finance operating model, incorporating best practices, advanced technology solutions, and process innovations. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision for transformation, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across diverse teams. Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Vision
- Develop and implement a comprehensive finance transformation roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and financial goals.
- Identify key areas for process improvement, automation, and innovation to enhance financial reporting, planning, and decision support.
- Establish metrics for tracking and reporting on the success of transformation initiatives, ensuring value realization.
- Process Optimization and Efficiency
- Lead a detailed review and redesign of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Introduce industry best practices and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information.
- Standardize processes across global locations to create a cohesive finance function that meets business demands.
- Technology and Digital Transformation
- Assess, recommend, and implement technology solutions (e.g., ERP, RPA, AI) that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of the finance function.
- Partner with IT and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new tools and technologies within the finance ecosystem.
- Ensure data integrity and security across financial systems, enabling a single source of truth for financial data.
- Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead change management efforts by engaging stakeholders across departments and levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Communicate transformation goals, milestones, and outcomes to executive leadership and other key stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.
- Develop training programs and resources to support the adoption of new processes and tools across the finance team.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing finance transformation team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for professional growth within the finance organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the finance leadership team, contributing to key strategic decisions.
Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in finance transformation, process improvement, or similar roles.
- Expertise: Proven track record of leading large-scale finance transformation projects in organizations with over $1 billion in revenue. Strong change management skills and experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with emerging technologies like RPA, AI, and data analytics.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive change within complex organizations. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. Collaborative leader who can inspire and empower teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $192,000 - $240,000, plus substantial equity offering and benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
