Lyft is looking for an energetic team-player, with a background in operations and performance improvement to join our Urban Solutions team supporting our bikes & scooters operations. In this role, you will manage a fleet of motorized vehicles (i.e., vans and trucks) while driving improvements to the current process by strengthening vendor relations and improving utilization. This role will also tackle broader process and performance improvement initiatives in the medium to long term.

Responsibilities:
MOTORIZED VEHICLE FLEET MANAGEMENT
- Expertise in all things fleet management for a fleet of 150+ leased/rented vehicles across 5+ markets around the US.
- Manage relationships with various internal/external partners including leasing vendors, rental vendors, Risk, Legal and Finance.
- Manage purchase order/payment process with service providers and maintain cost analytics and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure fleets remain compliant with registration, titling, DOT and other requirements.
- Present quantitative and qualitative findings to leadership to help drive high impact decisions.
- Build cross-functional, internal partnerships that support your scope of work.
- Collaborate with Planning and Finance to forecast vehicle-related expenses
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for motorized vehicle fleet management.
PROCESS/PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
- Establish metrics and targets to evaluate vehicle uptime and maintenance costs; collaborate with Operations Excellence and local stakeholders to improve vehicle performance.
- Evaluate field services performance across markets through on the ground ridealongs and data analysis to identify vehicle-related performance improvements.
Experience:
- 3+ years experience in an Operations, Logistics, or Consulting role
- Fleet management experience a plus, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills in order to work effectively with employees of all levels and external vendors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to process data to drive business strategies and decisions
- Strong track record of setting goals, creating a plan, and getting results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to drive efforts and projects through relationships and a broad knowledge base
- Ability to work with remote teams and across times zones
- Strong emphasis on data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in Google Sheets

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule β Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the New York City area is $72,000 - $90,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
