Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience in presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience in working with Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies (e.g., HHS HQ, IHS, CDC, FDA, SAMHSA).
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing architectures and mission solutions using API management, microservice frameworks, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and container orchestration systems, or related platforms.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies like analytics warehousing, data processing, data transformation, data governance, data migrations, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), Extract, Load and Transform (ELT), SQL, NoSQL, performance or scalability optimizations, or batch versus streaming.
  • Experience with AI/ML solutions to solve customer tests.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program or Federal Information Security Management.
  • Ability to work with technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Google Cloud/IT technology space.
In this role, you will deliver what is helpful for the customer. You will assist peers by problem-solving the technical issues for customers. You will liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to devise enhancements to Google cloud products. You will work with Technical teams to differentiate and communicate the growth of Google cloud to clients. You will help prospective customers and partners understand the Google Cloud explaining technical features, helping customers design architectures, engaging in proof-of-concepts, and troubleshooting potential issues. You will also travel to customer sites, conferences, and other events.Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$218,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Identify business and technical requirements, conduct technical discovery, and architect client solutions to meet gathered requirements.
  • Lead technical projects, technology advocacy, support bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
  • Deliver product messaging for the Google cloud platform by using whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents.
  • Drive recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Google cloud platform.
