Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, Audio Engineering, or other related disciplines with equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in Consumer Hardware, productizing new technology.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Acoustics, Signal Processing, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines with 7 years of experience in Consumer Hardware, productizing new technology.
- Experience with standard audio measurement and analysis tools, (e.g., ACQUA, SoundCheck, Audio Precision, Audition, Matlab/Python).
- Experience in media playback on consumer devices.
- Experience in control theory and ANC.
- Expertise in hearable audio system design, tuning and validation, including ANC, Transparency and playback.
- Expertise in objective and subjective assessment of hearables audio quality and ANC/Transparency performance.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. - Collaborate with Product, Acoustic, Algo, and Software teams to define and develop hearable audio systems and deliver solutions that meet key user experiences.
- Own tuning, evaluation and debugging of hearable audio algorithms, including ANC, Transparency and Playback.
- Develop tools, tuning strategies, and automate new methodologies for launching hearable audio solutions, leveraging expertise in both objective and subjective testing.
- Validate and debug audio system software, coordinate on algorithm enhancements with developers.
