Lightspeed is looking for a Marketing Operation Manager in Montrèal to support key marketing operations and  projects. Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing Operations, you’ll be responsible for reviewing, revising and creating standardized processes to support the efficient delivery of marketing initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing workflows for creative asset creation, campaign planning and other projects requiring cross-functional coordination with the Marketing team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement streamlined workflows and processes for creative asset production, campaign planning, and other Marketing functions requiring cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Review existing processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and propose improvements to enhance productivity and communication across Marketing departments.
  • Partner with Creative, Content, Growth, and Product Marketing teams to understand unique process needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Act as the project manager for large-scale process initiatives, setting milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Define and maintain project management templates and tools to facilitate effective planning and tracking of marketing activities.
  • Provide training and support for Marketing team members on updated processes, ensuring smooth adoption and ongoing adherence.
  • Monitor key metrics to assess the effectiveness of new processes and workflows, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement tools that support process automation and reporting, ensuring alignment with Marketing’s goals and objectives.
  • Maintain process documentation and guidelines, creating a knowledge base for the Marketing Operations team and related stakeholders.

What you need to bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a similar role, with a focus on process optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing cross-functional processes in a Marketing or Go-To-Market environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Trello, Wrike, or similar platforms.
  • Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement certifications are a plus.
