The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for administering and leading competitive bidding processes (RFPs), negotiating commercial terms (pricing and contractual), proposal analysis, commercial reports issuance, and evaluating and selecting suppliers in accordance with company policies primarily in the areas of Business & 3rd party Services Procurement for company needs.

Procurement categories include: Staff & office relocations; Employment & Outstaffing agencies; Agencies for contractor engagement; Courier services; Consulting & Audit services; Telecommunication services; Waste management; Office leases; Office furniture and supplies; Utility systems & utilities (energy, gas, water) & fuel; Warehousing & storage
 
This role can base in Prague/ Amsterdam

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for multiple procurement projects at one time.
  • Formulates requests for proposal/quotations/information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations. Coordinates preparation of RFP and SoW.
  • Administers and leads cross-functional teams through the competitive bidding process, directs supplier negotiations, develops, evaluates, and selects suppliers in accordance with company policies
  • Strategically source services and goods using a variety of methods to ensure an uninterrupted supply.
  • Evaluates and selects suppliers based on their ability to provide the goods/services and at costs consistent budgetary expectations.
  • Responsible for negotiation of contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks. Collaborates with both internal and external legal counsel, as applicable.
  • Tracks material/service costs and supplier performance using approved.metrics and tools
  • Analyzes trends and makes corresponding sourcing decisions.
  • Engage in regular contact with suppliers.
  • Participates in meetings with suppliers to rectify issues and to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting and are aware of the requirements and expectations.
  • Perform work according to department KPI goals.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.
 
 
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, (i.e. Economics, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.) or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Minimum one 3 years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in HR and professional services, insurance management, real estate with in-dept understanding of types of services being purchased.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation is a must.
  • Knowledge of Business and 3rd Party Services purchasing processes with a clear commercial focus on project type contracts and requirements.
  • Experience working in a high-performance company with multiple systems and organizations related to compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management.
  • Fluent in English

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Self-starter with excellent planning, project management, work planning, and organizing skills.
  • Strong computer skills with ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets and all Microsoft Office suite products
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite financial & procurement systems (preferred).
