Why we're hiring:

The Configuration and Data Integration team will be custodians of the data within the newly built ServiceNow. They will own the processes, internal and external, for integration and management of that data, including data warehousing, processes and ServiceNow workflows across WPP IT. The team will be split by archetype, with a Data Analyst for each of Media, Creative and Specialist. The team will: 

  • Manage the CMDB and all the data interfaces including workflows required both inside and outside of ServiceNow 
  • Support our SIAM partner in all aspects of the CMDB including data ownership and stewardship 
  • Work with key business stakeholders and data owners to ensure the CMDB business related data quality is maintained and sufficient for our partners/suppliers to use on a daily basis 
  • Be the SMEs for the CMDB structure, process and workflows 
  • Ensure the core WPP IT CMDB is maintained to the highest standards and quality 
  • Work with their key business stakeholders and data owners to ensure the CMDB business related data quality is maintained and sufficient for our partners/suppliers to use on a daily basis. 

 

What you'll be doing:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as the technical and functional data analyst to support delivery and ongoing management of ServiceNow 
  • Support the Lead in liaising between the wider WPP IT teams and partners on design requirements and proposed solutions 
  • Provide expertise and quality assurance on configuration of the ServiceNow system 
  • Act as subject matter expert for systems within the given archetype and their integrations with other centralized tooling 
  • Manage the CMDB elements and all the data interfaces including workflows required both inside and outside of ServiceNow for their aligned archetype 
  • Develop and support reporting processes 
  • Monitor and audit data quality 
  • Develop records management processes and policies 
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes 
  • Set-up and maintain automated data processes 
  • Liaise with archetype teams to fully understand data content and identify any gaps 
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business 
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools 
  • Use tools provided to create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations 
  • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources 
  • Identifying corrupted data / errors and managing workflow to correct these 
  • Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data 
  • Analysing local, regional, and global trends that impact the archetype and potentially the wider WPP organisation 
  • Preparing reports for the archetype stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. 

 

What you'll need:

Skill Requirements 

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills 
  • Experience of managing data within a global CMDB  
  • Working with third party suppliers within a SIAM ecosystem 
  • Strong understanding of data structures, sources, organisation, storage and workflow 
  • Ability to manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data 
  • Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation 
  • Attention to detail and capacity to translate into actions 
  • Ability to mine and analyse large datasets and present inferenced outcomes 
  • Articulate analysis and designs in various formats 
  • Strong reporting skills with ability to manipulate and link differing data sets 
  • Highly motivated, flexible team player with the ability to deliver in a timely and professional manner 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to share insights with stakeholders in the most appropriate format for the audience 
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to create relationships at operational level across the business 
  • Experience working within a global organisation 
  • Ability to support multiple activities at one time and prioritise tasks as required 
  • Business advocate to drive efficiencies, stabilization and continuous improvement
  • Prior experience of ServiceNow would be a benefit 
  • Power BI / other BI tool experience an advantage 
  • Advanced Excel knowledge 
  • Database design / administration experience a benefit 
  • ITIL / ITSM knowledge or experience an advantage.
