In this role you will be a member of the Maconomy Services Team reporting to the Maconomy Core Helpdesk Manager, this role is responsible for providing functional and transactional Level 1 support for ERP system.  This is a great role to grow your Maconomy knowledge with hands on experience and training available to the successful candidate. 

This is an exciting role working with the wider Maconomy Services team to provide a world class level of Maconomy support, development, compliance, governance, and security on a day-to-day basis and in support of Maconomy project deployments. 

The Maconomy Services team provides the post go-live support, maintenance, and enhancement of the Maconomy solution that replaces some of our core technology and influences our ways of working for many of our colleagues at WPP.  

This ERP programme will see Maconomy deployed across our global landscape to address the technology needs of Finance, Projects. The key to this programme is that technology is an enabler for change, it’s at the heart of what we do, but it’s not all of what we do. The people, process and compliance aspects of this programme are vital to its success. This role will help deliver that success on an ongoing basis for many years to come. 

 

What you'll be doing:

  • The Level 1 Support Analyst will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. They will be the first point of contact for our customers, and responsible for triaging issues and escalating them to the appropriate teams when necessary. 
  • Handle end-user inquiries through a ticketing system. 
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 
  • Ensure overall coordination with business Finance teams, and IT teams. 
  • Provide functional and transactional ERP system support. 
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment or on a shift rotation basis. 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in complex global organisations as Level 1 Support Analyst. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 
  • Able to work in a collaborative cross-functional team with exceptional communication skills required. 
  • Hands-on experience in ERP Systems Support or similar role – Maconomy is preferred. 
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Strong organisational skills and time and task management. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • ERP/Accounting software is an advantage. 
  • Knowledge and practical experience in ITIL principles and frameworks. 
  • Proven skills in incident management or service desk operations. 
  • Experience with Ticketing Systems: Jira and ServiceNow
