EUD Senior Apple Engineer​

As we continue this journey, we require an Apple Senior Engineer supporting all activities leading to the successful implementation new applications/ initiatives / agency onboarding / Mergers as well as working with suppliers on upgrades, maintenance and enhancements to production ecosystems and security. Focus on the technological know-how required to deliver and maintain the Apple ecosystem. It is their responsibility to work with suppliers and other SME’s to define and implement best practices and standards. In addition, they inform all those involved about specific engineering and security requirements and the associated risks. 

What you'll be doing:

• To work with the Information Security teams to maximise the security of policies and solutions and provide 
  support for any ongoing remediations or investigations
• Take the technical lead in Global Transformation as WPP’s operating structures and brands shift over time.
  Product support as part of third-line/fourth-line support resolver group for these products globally, 
  optimising, monitoring and addressing security vulnerabilities
• Global product lifecycle management, aligned to the Architecture roadmap informed by product, user and 
  data insights where available
• Drive the maximum possible level of automation and instrumentation of the development lifecycle for inscope products 
• Liaise with other SME’s in other areas to ideate and co-ordinate common process and standards
• Drive adoption of secure by design, engineering and agile practices as defined by Platforms and 
  Transformation CoPs
• Liaise with engineering communities to optimise ways of working with this product 
• Support innovation and horizon scanning for strategic and emerging technologies

What you'll need:

 Extensive experience working in a large global organisation
• Managing complex macOS and iOS enterprise environments 
• Expertise in deploying, and maintaining MDM systems for macOS & iOS
• Kandji SME
• Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and its Enterprise configurations
• Experience operating in a support framework with Apple Care Operating System (ACOS) agreements
• Experience operating in a support framework with Apple Care for Enterprise (ACE)
• Scripting for Apple Management/Application deployment
• Microsoft Office 365 & Microsoft Defender
• Okta and its associated workflows, such as FastPass.
• ServiceNow Integrations
• BYOD and MAM Workflows
• Strong analytical capabilities – ability to review raw data to identify patterns and meaningful interpretation.
• Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and vendor landscape; ability to quickly comprehend the 
functions and capabilities of new technologies
• Ability to translate business needs into Infrastructure technology and service requirements. Good 
organisation skills to manage multiple workloads simultaneously.
• Proven experience in vendor management with large outsource vendors and contracts.
• Experience with ADE to deliver mobile device provisioning, deployment and support
