WPP Open is seeking a highly analytical and client-focused Pricing & Commercial Strategy Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategies and driving revenue growth.

As our Pricing & Commercial Strategy Manager, you'll partner directly with clients and internal teams to develop cutting-edge pricing models and optimize our approach. This is a high-impact opportunity to leverage your expertise and make a tangible difference in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Client Partner: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs, crafting bespoke pricing solutions that deliver exceptional value.
  • Strategic Leader: Spearhead the development and execution of WPP Open's pricing strategy, conducting thorough market research, analyzing competitive landscapes, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Pricing Architect: Build and maintain robust, data-driven pricing models that reflect market dynamics and ensure profitability.
  • Sales Enabler: Equip our sales teams with the insights and tools they need to effectively communicate our pricing strategies and secure deals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Leverage data analysis and reporting to track performance, identify areas for optimization, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborative Influencer: Work cross-functionally with internal teams (product, operations, enablement) to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes. Act as a subject matter expert, resolving deal issues and sales escalations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in pricing, commercial strategy, or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a passion for innovation and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and ideally pricing optimization tools.
  • Great negotiation skills and experience with contractual terms.

 

Advantageous:

  • Experience with programmatic pricing models and platforms.
  • Experience working within a global organization.
  • Familiarity with the WPP network.
  • A deep understanding of media buying models (e.g., CPM, CPC, CPA)
