Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.

What you'll do

Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Patient Health Platform domain and help us become the #1 digital and secure medical companion for patients. 

You will be both a technical leader and a people manager, coaching and training your team members while building an amazing engineering organization at Doctolib. In this role, you will:

• Build new services from 0 to 1, and iterate on them with a roadmap of rapid experiments, until you reach a high level of activation, engagement and satisfaction.
• Lead the engineering team that will provide millions of people with an everyday partner in health, with an initial focus on young parents. 
• You will manage the development and implementation of a system that delivers relevant medical content to parents. The content will be personalized based on their goals, preferences and their child's health records. 
• You will develop tools to track important child health metrics and daily activities for parents.
• Empower your team to build better products, playing a pivotal role in the improvement of one of France’s most downloaded apps!
• Ensure business objectives are met as a team, by driving growth and performance of each team member.
• Set the roadmap for your team, and be the end-to-end owner of the team’s delivery and quality.
• Occasionally participate in code reviews and be hands-on if required.
• Lead cross functional initiatives to up-level our engineering team.
• Partner with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop and retain talent.

You could be our next team mate if you:

• Have 4+ years of people management experience with an engineering team.
• Possess a track record of developing secure, maintainable B2C platforms.
• Demonstrate experience in enhancing platform performance, with a commitment to creating a delightful user experience.
• You understand the value of testing your code.
• Have the ability to adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues.
• Are comfortable speaking English in your day by day with the team.
