The Global Large Parcel Transportation Planning team is striving  to build the fastest, most reliable transportation network for Wayfair and our customers, whether a product ships through a parcel carrier, or our proprietary Wayfair Delivery Network. As the owners of our weekly planning processes, our Analysts continuously strengthen their subject matter expertise, to leverage surface opportunities for improvement, driving those opportunities all the way to a launch.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for converting business challenges into actionable insights and data-driven solutions; utilising your critical thinking & analytical skills to drive operational success. Effectively translating complex data and communicating key findings to cross functional senior stakeholders, enabling effective business decisions and impactful change.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyse large data sets to uncover performance insights and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Develop metrics and reports to measure performance, track initiatives, and guide action plans.
  • Create dashboards, perform ad-hoc analyses, and monitor KPIs to align data strategies with business goals.
  • Design and implement initiatives to improve speed, cost, and optimize capabilities within Wayfair's delivery network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out operational and tech enhancements.

What You Will Have:

  • A minimum Bachelors degree within analytical bias such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Economics, or be qualified by experience.
  • Advanced user knowledge with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle large data sets, identify trends and provide actionable takeaways.
  • Effective communicator, someone who can build collaborative partnerships, influence senior level stakeholders on strategic direction based on data analysis recommendations. 
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion for Process Optimization and Transformation; experience with complex operational, process, and performance improvement projects.
  • Display a continuous improvement approach, with an inner drive to take ownership and support projects through to completion.

SQL Test
