Senior Android Engineer - Intercom

Overview

We are a small, dynamic team focused on building cloud-managed intercom systems. Our intercoms allow customers to receive calls from anywhere - at their desk or on their phone - with rich video and 2-way audio.  And we have a lot more to build.

We consider our team a startup within a startup, with a fair amount of ownership and autonomy. You’ll be working alongside a dynamic team of firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to develop this product line.

• BS or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or science

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience developing on Android
• 2+ years Embedded Android or AOSP experience
• In-depth understanding of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Jetpack Compose experience a plus
• Experience building UIs for Linux with frameworks like Qt a plus
• Can deliver high performance UX
• Comfortable writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code
• Experience collaborating cross functionally to design simple and robust backend APIs
• Eye for design, product details, and polish
• Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
