Role Summary:

The Sr. Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing internal financial reporting. This role involves applying advanced knowledge of accounting principles to support cost and budget analysis, project management, and team coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Accounting: Allocate and analyze direct/indirect costs and perform cost variance analysis.

• Budget Accounting: Develop and monitor annual revenue/expense budgets to control funds and measure operating results.

• Manage projects and processes with limited supervision.

• Coach and review the work of junior professionals; may manage a small team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experience:

• 5–7 years of relevant work experience.

• 3–5 years of domain-specific experience in accounting.

• Experience at Big 4 accounting firms or similar, or in startup/public company accounting.

Key Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
