**About the Role**
We’re looking for an individual to help manage the reliability and efficiency of our proposition on Uber Eats, ensuring we achieve our operational and financial goals for all Grocery & Retail deliveries. As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivery completion rates, on-time delivery and fulfilment efficiency. You’ll partner with our internal teams and external merchant partners to optimise and implement strategies for Grocery & Retail deliveries to ensure we meet our consumers’ expectations.
**What you will do**
- Monitor, diagnose and address root causes of delivery failures and order quality (e.g., late deliveries, cancelled orders) and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement solutions
- Optimise fulfilment efficiency through identifying and managing bottlenecks across the order lifecycle
- Partner with merchant partners to achieve commercial outcomes without compromising on operational quality
- Launch and embed end-to-end scalable solutions, processes, systems and procedures associated with Grocery & Retail deliveries
- Collaborate with global Grocery & Retail teams to share best practices and learnings, and leverage expertise and resources from other markets
**What you will need**
- 3+ years experience in professional work experience in a related field (consulting, business operations, tech, analytics, etc.)
- Hustle and self-starting mindset; identifying initiatives to improve reliability and fulfilment operations; you are able to identify and solve emerging problems, multitask and execute with speed and quality
- An analytical mindset and business acumen with experience using SQL and Excel/gSheets; being hands on with the tools will be crucial to your success in this role
- Track record of engaging and influencing cross-functional teams with evidence of complex project management in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Previous experience in eCommerce, Retail, FMCG or Consulting industries highly desirable
