Job Description

Hybrid

Bókun, a fast-growing subsidiary of TripAdvisor Inc., is a leading reservation system and channel management platform for tours and activities operators globally that enables them to streamline their back-end operations and connect to an ecosystem of online travel websites to grow their business.  At Bókun, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that empower our clients to grow their businesses and enhance customer experiences. As a key player in travel technology, Bókun combines the agility of a startup with the stability of a publicly traded organisation.

Are you driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and passionate about creating exceptional user experiences? Does crafting end-to-end design solutions that boost travel companies' revenue and operational performance excite you? We're expanding our Product Design team at Bókun and seeking an ambitious Product Designer to help shape our future.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft exceptional, user-centric digital experiences within a software product environment.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to the development of a design system that standardizes visual styles, UI patterns, and functional logic across our entire product suite.
  • Design prototypes across multiple fidelity levels to test user flows, validate assumptions, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent consumer experiences by closely collaborating with software engineers and product managers.
  • Be a champion for design thinking within the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Design for a complex B2B SaaS platform within the travel industry.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of design experience at consumer-focused brands or agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product design projects from initial ideation through detailed execution and delivery, including user interactions, UI transformations, and screen state variations.
  • Experience working in agile teams and a pragmatic approach to delivering within established design frameworks and processes.
  • Proficiency in translating design research, strategic market positioning, and technical requirements into a cohesive design direction, encompassing both visuals and interactions.
  • Exposure to data-driven design principles and decision-making processes.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio showcasing your contributions to digital products, highlighting originality, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with user research and experience designing for complex SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Proven experience creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma, the tool we use at the company.

Please submit your portfolio as a PDF or provide a link to your website. If it is password-protected, kindly include the password as well.

  • “Work your way” with flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Viator takes a remote-friendly approach to collaboration across a worldwide team, with the option to join on-site as often as you’d like.
  • Flexible schedule. Work-life balance is ingrained in our culture by design. Trust and accountability make it work.
  • Donation matching. Give back? Give more! We match qualifying charitable donations annually.
  • Tuition assistance. Want to level up your career? We love to hear it! Receive annual support for qualified programs.
  • Lifestyle benefit. An annual benefit to spend on yourself. Use it on travel, wellness, or whatever suits you.
  • Travel perks. We believe that travel is employee development, so we provide discounts and more.
  • Employee assistance program. We’re here for you with resources and programs to help you through life’s challenges.
  • Health benefits. We offer great coverage and competitive premiums.
Our Values
  • We aspire to lead. Tap into your talent, ambition, and knowledge to bring us – and you – to new heights.
  • We’re relentlessly curious. We push beyond the usual, the known, the “that’s just how it’s done.”
  • We’re better together. We learn from, accept, respect, support, and value one another– and are creating something remarkable in the process.
  • We serve our customers, always. We listen, question, respond, and strive for wow moments.
  • We strive for better, not perfect. We won’t get it right the first time – or every time. We’ll provide a safe environment in which to make mistakes, iterate, improve, and grow.
  • Our workplace is for everyone, as is our people powered platform. At Tripadvisor, we want you to bring your unique identities, abilities, and experiences, so we can collectively revolutionize travel and together find the good out there.

If you need a reasonable accommodation or support during the application or the recruiting process due to a medical condition or disability, please reach out to your individual recruiter or send an email to AccessibleRecruiting@Tripadvisor.com and let us know the nature of your request.  Please include the job requisition number in your message.
