No one wants to wait until payday to be reimbursed, and finance teams have better things to do than manually processing expense reports. At Pleo, we’re on a mission to change this. We’re making spend management surprisingly effective and empowering – for finance teams and employees alike.

We’re eliminating outdated processes to end out-of-pocket spending, foster autonomy, and give finance teams full trust in their employees. As an Account Executive, you’ll be selling our SaaS-based spend management solution—complete with smart company cards, invoice automation, and seamless reimbursement tools. But Pleo isn’t just about payments; it’s about helping businesses gain complete control over their spending in a way that’s easy and intuitive.

This role can be based in our Berlin office or fully remote within Germany, with occasional travel required.

What's the role? 👀

We're looking for a proactive, well -networked relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. As a Mid Market Account Executive at Pleo, you will:

  • Own the full sales cycle - from outbound prospecting (in collaboration with SDRs) to qualification, product demos, and closing deals
  • Build strong, lasting relationships - both with new prospects and existing customers, ensuring long-term account growth 
  • Drive new business and expansion - meeting revenue targets through a mix of new logo acquisition and upselling to existing accounts
  • Act as a trusted advisor - helping clients simplify and streamline their spend management processes 
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding, retention, and adoption of new features
