Your Role

  • Technical Product Positioning and Messaging: Describe solutions and platforms in terms of the ability to solve market problems and create crisp and compelling messages that drive market acceptance and growth. Capture the imagination of economic buyers and IT professionals with a fresh and creative approach.
  • Thought Leadership: Generate insightful & compelling content (product demonstrations, webcasts, blogs, e-books, whitepapers, etc.) to influence customers, buyers, industry specialists, research analysts, key editors in the press, and other third parties.
  • Customer and Competitive Intelligence: Identify and validate urgent, pervasive problems in the market by interviewing customers, recent evaluators, and potential buyers. Map their needs with target markets, analyze competitor and alternative offerings in the market, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and develop a strategy for winning against the competition.
  • Support the review and response along with system engineers for customer RFPs and RFIs.
  • Provide insights, demos, and roadmap plans with key industry analysts.
  • Sales & SE Enablement and Content: Work closely with sales and system engineers to understand their challenges and needs relative to selling the offering. Develop and deliver relevant training. Create and maintain a playbook of sales tools to help Sales succeed.
  • Engage regularly with key customers on their product requirements, and level of satisfaction with our offerings and convey results to the product management team.
  • Describe the product functions, use cases, and value to ITOps and DevOps teams regarding network, infrastructure, application, database, and end-user monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with On-prem and cloud technology stacks.
  • Be the subject matter expert regarding the state of the Observability market, changes, and potential disrupters.
  • Create visualizations and rich media recordings that describe our platform’s architecture and differentiated design.
  • Product Marketing Strategy & Planning: Contribute to thoughtful product marketing plans that are comprehensive and cover the spectrum of initiatives needed for business goals - vision/thought leadership, enablement, analyst initiatives, and customer awareness and adoption.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Product Marketing is responsible for supporting revenue attainment and growth. This role will contribute to the go-to-market strategy and influence teams across business areas that impact performance, starting with a close relationship with sales and demand generation teams.
  • Demand Generation: Work closely with the demand generation team to develop campaign strategy, deliver campaign assets, monitor and measure effectiveness, and develop plans to exceed revenue goals.
  • Event and Sales Support: Provide product and market expertise for tradeshows, webcasts, and seminars. Provide ongoing support for the sales channel.
  • Working with a global team of A-players: You will be working with a tightly coupled cross-functional team of highly talented and experienced technical professionals, including product managers, developers, and architects. We focus heavily on execution and organization, but we don't let formal processes get in the way of opportunity or experimentation.
