Software Engineer

We work in hybrid mode 3+2, at a minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and a maximum of 2 days at the home office.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via employment contract – FTE (HPP).

Overview:

We are a team of five developers – four seniors and an intermediate. We are working on a product called SolarWinds Observability (SWO), a cloud-based network, database, app, and log monitoring solution. Our focus area is log ingestion – as a user, you will set logs from your monitored systems to be digested with our solution, and our system will watch and warn you in case of any suspicious behavior.

We are now seeking someone to strengthen our team, utilize current skills, and further grow mainly in the backend area (but… there are no limits)

You’ll have a lot of opportunities to influence what and how we’re doing.

• you will contribute to our backend development, cooperate with your peers, and participate in all parts of the development process
• you will learn and grow with the assistance of your peers as you’ll be solving gradually more challenging tasks
• you will participate in all scrum events
• you might lead the development of a single feature

Your experience:
Must:

• Experience in JAVA (Kotlin is an advantage)
• Or experience with other coding languages and willingness to learn Kotlin
• English on a good level is a must

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of front-ends and python
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with Microservice architecture
• Experience with AWS development
• Experience with the development of cloud-based solutions
