Internship - Junior Developer C# .NET

This position is part of our Global Internship Program, allowing new talents to show themselves, improve, and thrive with our support. It is an on-site paid internship at our site in Brno in The Czech Republic. The length is limited – for 3 months, for full-time employment – 40 hours per week. The start of the internship is the 1st of July 2025 and the end of the internship is the 30th of September 2025. This internship cannot be done remotely.

We work in hybrid mode 3+2, a minimum of 3 days at the office with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a maximum of 2 days at the home office per week.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via employment contract – FTE (HPP).

Your Role:
Join SolarWinds and grow with us! We are looking for an intern developer with solid command of C# and .NET. You’ll have an opportunity to collaborate with outstanding software engineers of the IT Observability business and experience the development of our flagship SaaS product (https://www.solarwinds.com/solarwinds-observability/interactive-demo). You will be part of a self-organized scrum team working based on Agile principles. You will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices, mentored by experienced developers.

Your Impact:
• You will assist with the design, review, and development of full-stack features in a scrum team that writes code, tests it, takes care of its high quality, and maintains it.
• You and your team will be responsible for the entire development process, from prototyping to development, testing, and deployment.
• You will cooperate with other teams and stakeholders on a daily basis, in an international environment.
• You will primarily use Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, etc.

Your Experience:
• We want you to understand object-oriented programming concepts, be able to convert problems into algorithmic solutions, and have basic experience with source control like Git.
• We expect passion to develop clean and maintainable code and to follow commonly used practices such as unit/automation testing, and secure product development.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English are needed.
• Preferred experience: C#, .NET; we would appreciate it if you are familiar with React, Microservices, Team City, and MS SQL.
• Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
