Product Director, Credit Products

About the role:

We are seeking a seasoned product leader to spearhead our new Credit Products vertical, driving the strategy and execution of innovative credit solutions tailored for businesses. This role is pivotal to Aspire’s global expansion, as it will shape how we empower SMEs with scalable, user-centric credit products such as credit Cards, overdraft, working capital loans, revolving credit lines, invoice financing, and BNPL solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in credit products, strong P&L management skills, and a passion for building transformative financial solutions. Responsibilities

• Define Vision and Strategy: Co-develop the long-term vision for Aspire’s credit products with the executive team. Define a 3-5 year roadmap that aligns with market demands, customer needs, and Aspire’s growth goals. Across markets where we operate.
• P&L Ownership: Take full ownership of the P&L for the Credit Products vertical, setting and achieving ambitious growth and profitability targets.
• Cross-Functional Team Management: Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team comprising product, risk, operations, sales, marketing, and engineering to achieve P&L goals.
• End-to-End Product Leadership: Own the entire product lifecycle for credit solutions, from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across risk, operations, legal, compliance, engineering, and data science to deliver best-in-class credit offerings.
• Market and Regulatory Knowledge: Stay ahead of global credit trends, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements to ensure Aspire's products are innovative and compliant.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish, track, and refine product performance metrics to ensure customer success and profitability.
• Build and Lead a Team: Hire, mentor, and scale a team of product managers dedicated to credit products, fostering a high-performance culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• 5+ years of experience in credit or lending products, preferably in B2B fintech or neobanks.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering on growth and profitability targets.
• Demonstrated success in launching credit solutions such as working capital loans, invoice financing, or similar products.
• Proven ability to build and lead teams of product managers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
