Research Scientist Intern, Polarization Optics (PhD)

Meta Reality Labs unites a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to shape the future of virtual and augmented reality, aiming to make them as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today. Just as personal computers have transformed our lives over the past 45 years, AR and VR are poised to revolutionize how we work, play, and connect. We are pioneering the development of technologies necessary for groundbreaking AR glasses and VR headsets, including optics and displays, computer vision, audio, graphics, brain-computer interfaces, haptic interaction, and comprehensive tracking of eyes, hands, face, and body, as well as perception science and true telepresence. These technologies are advancing rapidly, creating AR and VR experiences so compelling that they become integral to our daily lives. Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
