The Intelligent Hosting (ICON) team is seeking a highly motivated Technical Program Manager to join our mission-critical efforts.
As part of the ICON team, you will oversee the hosting and backend platform services that are the foundation of the Amazon customer experience. We abstract and centralize infrastructure management from our service teams, bringing agility to our business processes. Our team operates hundreds of mission-critical services on behalf of internal customers, ensuring the security, availability, and efficiency needed to empower our developers to innovate for end-users.
ICON is an early adopter of Amazon's latest product offerings, leveraging advanced cloud technologies and automation to streamline operational activities. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving these initiatives forward, collaborating with talented engineers to optimize our platform and elevate the experience for millions of Amazon customers worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Program Manager on the ICON team, you will:
- Spearhead high-impact projects that drive efficiency, agility, and operational excellence across our ecommerce platform
- Coordinate closely with talented engineers to design and implement innovative solutions in an Agile environment
- Manage planned operations and service delivery to consistently meet customer SLAs and requirements
- Lead cross-functional collaboration, aligning teams to develop optimal, customer-centric outcomes
- Make strategic tradeoffs to accelerate time-to-market, clearly communicating goals, roles, and responsibilities to stakeholders
- Experience in either Data Engineering or Business Intelligence and Analytics, which will be essential for driving data-driven decision making and implementing solutions to improve platform performance and customer experience

- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience with roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience working directly with engineering teams
- Experience in system design- Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
