THE JOURNEY

  • Payroll Administration: collect all payroll related information, prepare, generate, check and submit payroll figures on a monthly basis.
  • Implement and improve processes.
  • Act as the POC for all labor administration issues, ensuring all employee documentation is collected and signed in the correct format
  • Manage onboarding, off-boarding, and all job changes for our employees in Spain.
  • Set up and maintain an orderly and compliant physical archive
  • Proactively ensure the company is compliant with local labor law regulations
  • Manage benefits for employees including acting as the POC for several providers (benefits and payroll providers)
  • Compile and negotiate conditions for benefits renewals
  • Identify employee knowledge gaps and create relevant materials and training to fill those gaps
  • Contact employees with regard to matters related to employee documentation
  • Create process documentation and manage change management for process changes
  • Supporting People Operations Generalist in any other tasks related to internal audit or administration (if needed)
  • Collaborating with an external payroll provider in matters related to employee documentation

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 2+ years of experience in labour administration ideally in Spain.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling end-to-end payroll process.
  • Strong Excel and database management skills.
  • Always looking to improve processes and optimizing coordination between departments. 
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Degree/Background in law, politics, immigration law, employee relations, administration, business or similar is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment and work with all levels of management.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Proactivity.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Fluency and perfect writing skills in Spanish and English. 
  • You are based in Barcelona.
