YouTube’s Social and Community team operates 24x7 online, representing the brand on the front lines of the internet, helping to shape public conversation, build community, scale support, and protect brand reputation. We have deep expertise in public community engagement, User Generated Content (UGC) programs, social care, social media crisis response, social intelligence, incident management, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will lead the team that oversees the collection (tooling/infrastructure/AI), intelligence (real-time flagging/monitoring), and interpretation of large social datasets to support informed decision-making across the organization. The primary focus will be to develop systems to stay on top priority known issues and escalations, drive actionable insights, and enhance the overall data infrastructure. This role will require deep cross-functional collaboration to influence product and policy roadmaps and shape the overall user experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
