Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience managing or leading a security program and leading teams to implement technical recommendations.
  • Experience with IT or cyber security technologies and systems, and with communicating technical details to IT, cyber security, and business leadership at all levels.
  • Experience documenting project requirements that define scope, schedule, and technical deliverables.
  • Experience working with internal and external customers, including documenting and explaining technical details.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise security controls in on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
  • Experience with enterprise networking and network segmentation strategies.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management best practices.
  • Experience with Windows and Unix endpoint hardening and security control enforcement.
  • Experience in multiple industries or vertices, or in service provider or consulting vertices serving multiple customer industries.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

As a Remediation Advisor for Mandiant, you will guide our clients through the complexities of cyber security. In this role, you will be a trusted partner for organizations facing a wide range of challenges, from proactively enhancing their security posture to navigating the aftermath of a significant cyber incident. You will lead projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and communicate effectively with clients at all levels, from technical staff to executive leadership and legal counsel. You will quickly assess client needs, engage the right resources, and drive effective remediation activities to help our clients become more secure and resilient.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$241,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Advise and guide clients through challenging cyber security incidents and recovery, providing expert advice and support across a range of technologies, enabling them to confidently navigate complex situations.
  • Lead complex incident response and remediation engagements, effectively managing large-scale projects, coordinating resources, and meticulously tracking progress to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, including technical staff, executives, legal teams, and board members, tailoring your approach to ensure clear understanding and alignment on remediation strategies.
  • Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and proactively identifying opportunities to leverage Mandiant services to enhance their security posture.
  • Orchestrate and manage critical security operations, such as enterprise-wide password resets, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum effectiveness.
