What you’ll do
In this important role on AlixPartners’ Corporate Services Business Intelligence Center (BIC) team, you will contribute to the delivery of Knowledge Management (KM) services and business development support to consultants.
The mission of AlixPartners Knowledge Management team is to facilitate the creation, sharing, and leveraging of knowledge assets across AlixPartners consulting teams. KM at AlixPartners is the “Front Door” where consultants go to find relevant content or from which consultants are directed to find content for business development purposes. The KM Team supports the processes, including quality control review, and manages and evolves products to make content available and “findable”, sets security levels and directs people to find content for supporting our teams in business development.
The Business Intelligence Knowledge Management Senior Specialist is a full-time role located in New York, NY, Chicago, IL, or Dallas, TX, and reports to a Knowledge Management Lead. Paid relocation is not available.
- Manage and execute our client disclosability process. This involves regularly coordinating with BIC colleagues and business stakeholders to capture and track the status of new clients/engagements, maintain accurate listing of disclosable clients and associated assets, respond to questions from the business and continuously evolve and enhance the process in line with changing business needs.
- Support the development and management of business-centric Hub Sites which enable consultants to find and share relevant information within their business unit and across the firm. Work with stakeholders to design, develop, launch, and refresh these SharePoint sites as needed to ensure they continue to support the needs of the business.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the way we leverage evolving technologies, such as Generative AI, to support and enhance knowledge sharing across the firm.
- Be an active participant in the handling of BIC requests - sharing capacity and responding to relevant requests and running dispatch shifts for the Americas as needed.
- Work to actively implement and support processes that encourage and enable high quality content management and curation.
- Support Business Development initiatives within the Americas as needed.
- Train new MDs/PMDs on Knowledge Management tools and capabilities.

What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with preference for a business-related field.
- Minimum four (4) years' knowledge management experience; professional services or consulting firm environment is a plus.
- Interpersonal skills that enable the individual to foster connections with colleagues throughout the firm at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to articulate our knowledge management vision throughout the firm employing brevity and clarity.
- Intellectual curiosity and love of learning that can contribute to process improvement.
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities effectively, adapt to changing circumstances to meet strict deadlines under time constraints while taking responsibility for own workload.
- Service focused and highly responsive with good business sense and judgment.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint required; PowerBI highly preferred.
- Experienced at working in a global team, leveraging technology to achieve goals whilst working primarily in a virtual set-up.
- Preferred skills/knowledge: experience with/understanding of Generative AI, experience with platform and/or technology implementations.
- Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave, and twelve holidays.
The hourly range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $41/hr. - $49/hr. with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
