Join our innovative team and be at the forefront of real-time graphics and stage technology! As a Graphics Programmer, you'll stand out by directly shaping our live productions.
You'll contribute by developing the tools that bring our on-screen visuals to life – scripting data interfaces, managing crucial databases, and building applications to control our graphics engines.
You'll solve the challenges of integrating dynamic data with captivating graphics, and play a vital role in building a robust and collaborative foundation for our department's future growth across production, engineering, and operations.
Key job responsibilities
Dive into Data: You'll team up with the tech gurus to build and manage the databases that power our on-screen graphics. Think of it as making sure all the right info flows smoothly from the data sources to what you see on TV.
Speak the Language of Data: You'll be the bridge between different systems, using APIs and web services to pull in both live and past data and get it ready for our graphics.
Master the Graphics Magic: You'll write and manage the scripts that tell our VizRT graphics templates how to display that real-time and stored data. Basically, you'll be making the cool visuals happen!
Build Cool Tools: You'll get to create your own web or desktop applications using C# in Visual Studio to control our custom graphics – think of it as building the ultimate remote control for our visuals.
Team Up and Understand: You'll work closely with the Prime Video Live Sports crew and other Amazon teams to figure out exactly what data and applications they need. You'll be the go-to person for making sure their visions become reality.
