Key job responsibilities

Creative Vision & Strategy
• Define and implement MGM+'s creative vision across all audiovisual platforms
• Develop innovative concepts for promotional campaigns, trailers, and marketing materials for premium television and streaming content
• Drive creative excellence through compelling storytelling and emerging technologies

• Translate complex ideas into engaging audiovisual experiences
Production Leadership & Execution
• Direct high-profile projects from concept through delivery, including video campaigns, trailers, and TV spots
• Oversee technical production aspects including editing, sound design, and visual effects
• Lead creative reviews and provide strategic direction for all deliverables
• Manage live shoot productions and Electronic Press Kit (EPK) development
• Guide creation of digital assets for social media and online platforms

Team & Resource Management
• Lead and mentor creative teams of designers, producers, and technical specialists
• Optimize workflows and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects
• Manage departmental budgets and production timelines effectively
• Foster team growth and innovation through professional development
• Collaborate with external agencies and vendors on complex projects
Technical Excellence & Innovation

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, Digital Arts, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years experience in high-level A/V production, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in premium television, streaming content, and/or theatrical marketing
• Demonstrated success in developing promotional campaigns for premium entertainment content
• Extensive experience with live shoots and Electronic Press Kit (EPK) production

Your day as an MGM+ AV Creative Director begins with a burst of creative energy as you arrive at the office, cold brew in hand, already bubbling with fresh ideas for the new psychological thriller series. The shoot team's texts light up your phone with exciting BTS footage they've captured for the EPK. The morning kicks off with a creative review alongside the creative services leadership team. Then, diving into the season finale promo cut for FROM. You expertly guide your editors through crucial tweaks, enhancing tension and perfecting sound
The day flows into a dynamic check-in with marketing team, where you refine that brilliant TikTok campaign you conceptualized. The storyboards shine, and collaborative brainstorming leads to even more innovative transitions. During lunch, you meet with the Motion GFX lead to review composites for the adventure series launch. While the holographic elements impress, your creative vision pushes for even more spectacular effects, suggesting subtle particle enhancements for transitions. Your afternoon includes a call with the London office, carefully navigating cultural nuances and technical requirements for international campaign adaptations while maintaining the creative message's impact across all markets.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
