Amazon is looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager to join the Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) team. This strategic role will drive the acceleration of Amazon's vendor business growth. You will lead the design and implementation of new mechanisms to enable continuous vendor growth and success on Amazon. This will involve transforming existing processes and implementing innovative solutions leveraging technology. Using data-driven insights, you will identify critical barriers to vendor growth and propose scalable solutions to drive sustainable business growth. This position requires strategic thinking and business acumen, as you will lead end-to-end product development by defining business requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams (business, product, operations, and tech) to drive projects forward. Key job responsibilities
1. Analyze vendor pain points and market opportunities to identify high-impact solutions
2. Drive data-driven decision making and measure success through key performance metrics
3. Define and execute the strategic vision for vendor growth support mechanisms, including both process improvements and technology solutions
4. Develop comprehensive product roadmaps that align with business objectives and vendor needs
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, product, operations, and tech teams) to deliver scalable solutions
6. Partner with product/tech teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive implementation
7. Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Business level English and Japanese language proficiency.- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
