Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with industry-standard emulation tools and techniques.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Tcl, and high level design language such as Verilog or SystemVerilog.
  • Experience with an industry available emulator such as Cadence Palladium, Mentor Veloce, Synopsys EVE or FPGA rapid prototyping platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
  • Knowledge of and experience with chip design flow including simulation and synthesis.
  • Knowledge of and experience with design verification languages and methodologies, such as SystemVerilog and UVM/OVM.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,000-$187,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Plan and execute RTL partitioning, synthesis, and validation to build efficient, accurate emulation models.
  • Run extensive test suites and software workloads on the emulation platform for thorough pre-silicon verification.
  • Implement robust debugging methodologies and tools to quickly identify and resolve complex design issues.
  • Analyze and optimize emulation performance and resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • Enforce best practices, develop tools, and manage resources effectively through close collaboration with design and verification teams.
